Catching Lighting, in the Bronx

 I caught this shot in about 5 attempts. I was on my balcony watching the lighting and listening to the thunder. I counted the seconds between both the lightning and thunder and then, between thunder and lightning. Once I figure out the pattern, I began to guesstimate when the next bolt of lighting would hit. The fourth photo is the finished product. There was no Time-Lapse camera used in the shooting of these photographs. It was all hand eye coordination.
